What you need

Fall Guys, a compatible device and an Epic Games account for online play

Set up the game

  1. Check the current show description and controls for your platform; shows and rounds rotate. Select a solo show or join friends in a party before matchmaking.
  2. This describes the publisher's current general party-royale structure, not a fixed season or a guaranteed number of rounds.

If you play on PC for long stretches, a comfortable mouse or headset makes a real difference. Razer's accessory range is one place to compare options; check platform compatibility first. (Affiliate link: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. How links work.)

Playing Fall Guys

  1. In a race round, navigate obstacles toward the finish before the qualification cutoff. Other rounds may require survival or a point objective rather than a race finish.
  2. Run, jump, dive or grab as the on-screen round permits. When a round ends, qualifying players continue and eliminated players may leave or spectate.
  3. The final has its own win condition shown before play; complete it to win the show. Squad and cooperative shows may qualify by team score, so an individual finish is not always sufficient.
  4. A party may enter together, but a friend who fails a solo-round qualification can be eliminated while you continue.

A teammate crosses, but your squad still needs points

In a squad race, one teammate reaches the finish early. Others are still behind and the squad's combined score has not cleared the qualifying cutoff. Keep racing instead of assuming one finisher has advanced the whole team.

What qualification means

The word 'qualify' changes meaning by round. In an obstacle race it may be one of the first players over the line; in survival you must remain through the timer; in points rounds an accumulated target or ranking decides. The screen's round objective is more reliable than remembering a previous show.

Beginner decisions

  • Watch one obstacle cycle before jumping; a safe route can beat repeated fast attempts that end in a fall.
  • Read the round objective every time; the next level might be survival or points, not a finish-line race.

Common rule mix-ups

  • Assuming every show uses the same number of rounds or every round is a race.
  • Confusing solo qualification with squad qualification; a squad result can depend on combined points.

Questions about this game

Can I play with friends on another platform?

Epic supports cross-platform parties through Epic Games accounts; current platform and account requirements may change.

Do I have to win each round?

Usually you need to qualify under that round's displayed condition; only the final decides the show winner.
